Intel’s Arc Alchemist A-series desktop graphics cards for gaming PCs are rumored to include up to 7 models when they launch by the end of Q2 2022.

There have been various rumors and leaks surrounding the Intel Arc Alchemist A-Series lineup over the past couple of weeks. We are expecting five variants so far plus the “Limited Edition” model which was the only card officially presented by Intel, but there seem to be two other variants that seem to be part of the range according to the latest rumor.

Based on a tweet from a well-known and reliable leaker, Komachi_Ensaka, Intel is planning at least 7 new models. The lineup will include the flagship Arc A770 which will feature the full Arc ACM-G10 GPU with 32 Xe-Cores and a 256-bit bus interface. The previous rumor stated that the Arc A770 would come with lower memory and it looks like it’s basically an entirely different SKU as it will feature both 16GB and 8GB flavors. The base specs will remain the same.

Moving on, we have the mid-range Arc A750 and Arc A580. These cards are likely to compete with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 line and are expected to feature 24 Xe-Cores (3072 ALUs) and 16 Xe-Cores (2048 ALUs) respectively. The Arc A750 is expected to come with 8GB of memory (256-bit) but it could also come with 12GB of memory (192-bit bus) if it plans to take on the 3060 series. The Arc A580 is expected to have 8 GB of memory.

As for the entry level range, there seems to be a new addition of the Arc A350 which will sit between the already reported Arc A380 and Arc A310 desktop offerings. The models are likely to feature 8, 6, and 4 Xe cores, with the top variant featuring 6GB of GDDR6 (96-bit) memory and the other two models featuring 4GB of GDDR6 (64-bit) memory. The entry-level range will compete with the NVIDIA 3050 and AMD Navi 24 offerings.

  • Bow A380: ACM-G11 GPU, up to 6GB memory (faster than RTX 3050)
  • Bow A350: ACM-G11 GPU, up to 4GB memory (tied with RTX 3050)
  • Bow A310: ACM-G11 GPU, up to 4GB memory (faster than RX 6400)

Finally, there is a model that has yet to be confirmed and that is the Intel Arc A780. We don’t know what this offering will offer over the already flagship A770 configuration, but it could very well be the ‘Limited Edition’ model. It has also been reported that the same card belongs to Intel’s Arc 9 series, but this is only a rumor at the moment. Intel is currently optimizing its drivers for the new line and will be available later this month if not affected by further delays.
